Senior Marketing Director - Global Digital Channel Lead

This is a remote position, so you’ll be working remotely from your home. The role will be based preferably in the US, UK or in Singapore and global travel will be required when necessary.

This position is not eligible to be performed in Alaska, Mississippi, North Dakota, or the Virgin Islands.

GoDaddy’s media team within Central Marketing drives functional leadership, strengthening GoDaddy’s US media and marketing capabilities whilst inspiring significant changes in efficiency and innovation across markets globally.

The Digital Channel Lead will report into the Head of Global media and will work to elevate the GoDaddy performance and brand media execution within digital channels to build efficient consumer and brand experiences in media.

The Global Digital Lead will lead full funnel digital channel operations across performance & brand media with clear metrics and budgeting for all Business Units globally.

This is a performance first role with a deep operational insight into how digital channels work, a strong understanding of incrementality, and a focus on experimentation. The role involves working with partners and analytics teams to build measurement frameworks connecting media to business outcomes. You will work closely with the Brand, Creative and GTM teams to better understand the business challenges, whilst implementing strategic directives to capitalize on opportunities across global markets.

What you'll get to do...

  • In collaboration with channel leads: build, communicate and implement the Global Digital Channel Strategy for SEM, SEO, Paid Social, OLV and Display
  • Build a single measurement framework and KPIs that align across funnel and channels
  • Allocate budget per channel in collaboration with Media Strategist collaborating with BU Leads; supervise pacing
  • Support channel lead execution specifically for customer journey mapping, messaging alignment, audience coordination & ensure cross channel efficiency
  • Drive the creation of analytical tools / dashboards and data-led measurement methodologies in collaboration with internal data scientists
  • Be responsible for data-driven optimization, growing the value of our investment whilst developing strategic recommendations
  • Be responsible for the success of channel campaigns against global goals
  • Take overall responsibility for experimentation roadmaps and execution, improving velocity and impressions under experimentation
  • Support adoption of cross-channel automation and provide feedback for further innovation
  • Maintain overall Advertising relationship with global platforms, supporting access to new programs and data scientists whilst holding platforms accountable to GD goals

Your experience should include...

  • Self-motivated, highly flexible and can work effectively in an ambiguous environment.
  • 12+ years of proven experience in performance digital channel execution within commerce, tech or travel related industries
  • 5+ years of attribution and incrementality testing with a strong understanding of measurement frameworks
  • Experience as a leader with validated impact at C-suite level & strong team leadership skills with shown success at leading teams across geographies. A more globally rounded experience in markets like US, Canada, Australia, UK in digital media environments is a plus.
  • Experience of campaign execution within digital platforms including Google Ads, DV360 and META
  • Strong mathematical and statistical approach with an ability to analyze channel performance and trends independent of the Analytics org.
  • T-shaped demeanor of balancing left-brain organization and right-brain creativity
  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in marketing, communications, or business. MBA a plus.
  • Strong communications and presentation skills – ability to turn sophisticated topics into simple concepts
  • Strongly results oriented with consistent track record of success.

GoDaddy's compensation is local to where you are and may vary based on an individual's qualifications at the time of the offer. The anticipated annual base salary ranges for select locations are listed below:

  • Seattle, New York City - $196000.00 to $245000.00
  • Colorado, Washington State - $160000.00 to $200000.00
