Senior Demand Forecaster – Analyst

At GoDaddy the future of work looks different for each team. Some teams work in the office full-time, others have a hybrid arrangement (they work remotely some days and in the office some days) and some work entirely remotely.

This is a remote position, so you’ll be working remotely from your home. You may occasionally visit a GoDaddy office to meet with your team for events or offsites.

This position is not eligible to be performed in Alaska, Mississippi, North Dakota, or the Virgin Islands.

GoDaddy Care & Services Workforce Planning & Logistics is hiring a driven Senior Demand Forecaster who is heartfelt about data, operational excellence, and innovation. In this role you will be part of the Forecasting & Planning team committed to ensuring GoDaddy has solid plans for our global contact centers, including making sure guides are always available when customers need them, across 21 sites in 12 countries.

What you'll get to do...

  • Partner with Product Management, Engineering, Marketing, Care & Services Operations teams, Business Intelligence, and Finance to develop customer contact demand forecasts to meet business goals, customer needs, and financial commitments
  • Deliver accurate 18-month rolling multi-channel demand forecasts (phone, messaging, etc.) across different geographies
  • Project operational performance including forecast variance projections, service level projections, and operational performance projections while ensuring model and algorithm accuracy based on actuals
  • Perform statistical modeling to project possible effects of business and product changes, guide and customer workflow and process changes, routing changes, and marketing campaigns
  • Build models and ad-hoc queries to support business analysis to diagnose business performance and identify the root cause
  • Present forecasts in a way that is easily absorbed by audiences of varying levels, including senior leaders and key collaborators
  • Apply key data to understand how the business is performing for GoDaddy customers and against business goals and identify priorities to improve operational performance

Your experience should include...

  • 8+years of demand forecasting, risk probability modeling, profitability modeling, process sensitivity modeling, or similar predictive modeling required
  • Ability to develop statistical models, build scenarios, and forecast with a high level of accuracy required
  • Knowledge of ARMA/ARIMA/SARIMA, decomposition, linear regression, exponential smoothing, or related statistical models required
  • Proficiency in R or similar language required
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (including sophisticated statistical and worksheet functions), business intelligence applications, and databases required

You might also have...

  • Proficiency in designing and building interactive dashboards and other reporting in Tableau, including complex data visualization, preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, Predictive Analytics, Statistics, and Probability, or a similar field preferred

GoDaddy's compensation is local to where you are and may vary based on an individual's qualifications at the time of the offer. The anticipated annual base salary ranges for select locations are listed below:

  • California Bay Area, Santa Clara, San Francisco: $110500.00 - $165500.00
  • Seattle, New York City: $98500.00 - $147500.00
  • Los Angeles, San Diego: $96000.00 - $144000.00
  • California State, Washington State, Colorado State: $84000.00 - $126000.00
