As a Senior Software Development Engineer on the Threat Intelligence team, you are part of a highly collaborative team responsible for protecting Godaddy's and Godaddy's customers.
You will be responsible for designing, developing, and building different client side apps that utilize the threat intelligence platform API, you will be focused on integration, that would help adoption of our API by different teams .
You will apply expert-level knowledge of CS principles, Information Security and softwared Development best practices every day to constantly innovate and improve the platform, and to raise the adoption of Threat Intel API and date provided by the Threat Intel. platform .

Responsibilities :

Contribute to our Automation and integration efforts using Python, Golang and other technologies .

Design, implement, and test the various applications that helps improve our Threat Intelligence platforms

Continuously refine existing systems to improve their reliability, performance, and manageability. Provide operational support for critical Threat Intel. systems as well as internal APIs/tools

Collaboratively design and document next generation systems Write great code and create unit and integration tests to help improve automation.

Participate in planning, architectural discussion, implementation and maintenance of a Threat Intel. platforms and tools.

Perform code reviews and participate in suggesting and supporting coding best practices.

Participate in devops, build and deploy pipeline, release and on-call activities in support of the platform and applications.

Write, edit and improve technical documentation.

Engage with engineers & stakeholders across GoDaddy to solve problems with broad impact (from group-wide to company-wide impact) when needed .

Support, mentor and help develop other engineers in the team.

Contribute to Open Source projects related to the tech stack and domain of our products Requirements

Requirements:

BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Math, or equivalent degree 5+ years of relevant full-time software engineering experience

Expert level knowledge in the development lifecycle and it's requirement Very strong understanding of the fundamentals of API, Security application, microservicecs, etc..

5+ years of experience in at least one of the following langagues : Python, Golang, Java, C or C++.

Preference for familiarity with Python, GoLang

Expert level knowledge of front-end languages and frameworks (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, NodeJS, ReactJS, Bootstrap)

Experience with multiple data platforms is a plus (MS SQL, Hadoop, Cassandra, MongoDB, etc.) Experience with ELK stack (Kibana) and monitoring tools is a plus

Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools and best practices (Jenkins, Pipelines, Powershell)

Familiarity with Agile (Scrum) software development, Git/GitHub, and related tools (preferably JIRA)

Comfortable with Git

Passion for self-driven, continuous learning both in and out of the office Excellent communication skills are required to be able to convey technical issues and details to non-technical users. Strong understanding of the fundamentals of API, Security application, microservicecs, etc.
