GoDaddy is revolutionizing how small businesses build their business online and we are looking for an experienced data-driven product management leader with an obsession with building effective engagement oriented experiences to join our team. Leverage your leadership skills and creativity to identify, design, build and launch cutting-edge engagement experiences while using the latest technologies and collaborating with highly talented and motivated cross-functional teams.

In this role, you'll be joining the GoCentral Team in the Presence and Commerce Division, a team comprised of product and engineering leaders who share a passion for driving next-generation products that customers love to use and that generate measurable results for their businesses. You will be focused specifically on designing, creating and driving adoption of cutting edge engagement tools for our web presence products. These tools will enable our customers to engage with consumers through channels such as email, messaging, social, loyalty programs, etc. Through these tools you will help our customers achieve a world-class customer experience in engagement, retention, and lead gen marketing. You are customer-obsessed, steeped in small business growth marketing best practices, and driven by user empathy. Your goal is to help small businesses around the world succeed.

You will work closely with UX, other Product Managers, engineers, data scientists, marketing, and support teams to craft a great end-to-end experience that goes beyond the pixels on the screen. You are data-driven, iterative in approach, and relentless in delivering innovative and high-value customer-focused products, and also an expert communicator able to inspire and sell a vision to the engineering and design teams. You are up to date on the latest trends and standards in tools that enable small businesses to successfully engage with their consumers and grow their business.

Responsibilities:

  • Form and communicate strategy and roadmap for new and innovative consumer engagement and small business marketing tools that allow GoDaddy customers to grow their businesses

  • Conceptualize and build product experiences based on core customer needs and exceptional user experiences

  • Apply the latest technologies of machine learning and predictive algorithms to engagement channels such as blogging, social, SMS, email, etc. to give small businesses the ability to create and retain high value customers

  • Form product hypotheses, execute and report on A/B tests, and iterate to relentlessly improve product performance

  • Analyze and report on installs, usage, engagement and retention to stakeholders, and own the roadmap to improve these KPIs

  • Work with UX to ideate and prototype potential features, conduct usability tests, and perform user research. You will work closely with the design team to build features that enable small businesses to succeed online, no matter their industry or geography

  • Own your products through the entire product development lifecycle

  • Create clear requirements and core end to end user flows to guide UX and engineering

  • Lead one or more Agile development teams, working closely with engineering, QA, product designers to identify, plan, prioritize and manage work on new products and features

  • Conduct competitive analysis and report back to the team on actionable findings

  • Drive support and adoption across the larger organization for new feature and product launches by working with marketing, customer support and other product groups

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in product management (or similar role), working with internet/software products, and at least 2 years primarily with consumer engagement and small business marketing products, with increasing levels of responsibility

  • Demonstrated success leading the development of multiple successful products or significant customer-facing features through multiple releases

  • Analytical and metrics-driven with a hypothesis-based mentality; has identified, implemented and analyzed success metrics and conducted A/B tests for multiple products. Must be able to self-serve product data to understand how customers are using your products and whether a feature is successful or not.

  • Strong technical understanding of current engagement based and marketing focused technologies required, and ability to understand the system-level requirements for features; B.S. in a technical field or equivalent experience; MBA preferred.

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with engineering, design, business planning and customer service.

  • Experience with user and market research; be able to champion customer and user needs to the rest of the organization.

  • Proficient in Agile development methodologies and has served in the Product Owner role in Agile teams.

  • Demonstrated customer centric orientation, and the ability to translate ambiguous insights and observations into features and product improvements

  • Self-starter and results-oriented, able to work under minimal guidance

  • Intellectual curiosity and desire to learn new things, techniques and technologies

  • Excellent organizational, prioritization and communication skills, with a high level of attention to detail.

  • Ability to work in a complex, diverse and changing environment. Focus on key business goals and execute on a plan with constrained resources

  • Bonus: experience starting or running a small business or building products or services for small business customers
