As a Security Engineer in our Threat and Response organization, you will be responsible for writing codes, automating and conducting various Threat intelligence operations such Threat Actor profiling, OSINIT, to mention a few, you will also be creating some processes and playbooks for various Threat related tasks
Undertake analysis and monitoring of security feeds and other open source intelligence in order to research and gather information on trending threats, vulnerabilities and exploits relevant to GoDaddy
Produce impactful intelligence for different teams within GoDaddy in the form of threat advisories, executive briefings and tactical data feeds.
Accurately track and record detail for the production of metrics.
Analyze indicators of compromise and indicators for Attacks and different feed into the Cyber Security Operations team and other relevant areas.
Uses threat intelligence or hypotheses to inform threat hunting and hunt for threats.
Creates advanced automated alerts and playbooks which correlate indicators of compromise
Performs advanced analysis of malware
Creates intellectual property such as procedural documentation and tools for automated analysis and correlation activities
Produces key metrics related to threats and risks
Develop and report on meaningful metrics for InfoSec
Building tools and inventing new approaches to assist with threat hunting automation
Building integration and tools that can be leveraged via incident response engineers and other InfoSec members
- 3+ years proven experience working in a Threat Intel or similar role.
- 1+ years of experience with developing security software.
- Experience with Threat Intel Platforms (TIP) (such as ThreatConnect, Anomali, MISP, or similar products)
- Understanding of security principles and good security practices across multiple security domains
- Ability to understand and apply the cyber kill chain or ATT&CK model to events
- Expertise with operations and development/maintenance of TIP integrations
- Knowledge in Splunk
