As an Outbound Sales Representative, you will interact with GoDaddy’s existing customers to introduce them to products and services that meet their needs. In this role, you will be a part of warm outbound calling campaigns in targeted markets via an outbound dialer; no cold calling here! You will manage customer accounts for small businesses through a high level of consultation, while building trust and rapport with the customer. You will assist with call volume from other divisions within GoDaddy when necessary. The key performance measurements for this role are new revenue-per-day, customer satisfaction surveys, and customer availability. Responsibilities:

  • Help existing GoDaddy customers build their online presence, one unique story at a time
  • Build rapport with each customer and get to know who they are!
  • Through outbound calls, discover customers goals and needs regarding GoDaddy products and services for their business
  • Manage customer accounts for small businesses through a high level of consultation
  • Sell GoDaddy products and services with a short sales cycle and “one-call-close” mentality
  • Become a GoDaddy product expert who advises customers on the best solution to achieve their goals
  • Meet daily and monthly performance standards set by the Outbound department to earn monthly bonuses, which include but are not limited to: sales targets, schedule adherence, customer survey scores, and quality assurance
  • Work at a fast pace to consult, recommend, and enable the right online product and service strategies to customers
  • Complete a rigorous training and on boarding program to learn about GoDaddy products and sales techniques


Requirements:

  • 6+ months of customer service experience is required
  • Willingness to learn and an interest in technology
  • Excellent spoken and written communication skills with the ability to easily and quickly build trust and rapport with customers
  • Demonstrate a high level of integrity and customer focus. We always do what’s right for the customer!
  • Refusal to allow rejection on one sales call affect the outcome of the next. Perseverance and resilience are key!
  • Because we’re passionate about helping our customers make their own way, this role requires you to be physically present in the office to assist them; it also requires pre-defined breaks and lunch periods
  • Constant demonstration of GoDaddy’s core values – be extraordinary, live passionately, own outcomes, work fearlessly, and join forces
  • Ability to multi-task and navigate the internet quickly and efficiently
  • Ability to sit for several hours at a time and adhere to an assigned schedule 
  • Because we’re passionate about helping our customers make their own way, this role requires you to be physically present in the office to assist them; it also requires pre-defined breaks and lunch periods
  • High school diploma or equivalent education

Preferred Qualifications

  • This is an entry level sales role, but 6+ months of sales experience is preferred
  • Previous experience and success in a bonus or commission-based sales environment preferred
