To learn more about the company visit www.GoDaddy.com.GoDaddy is looking for a Sr. UX designer to join the Domains Aftermarket team who is passionate about building brilliant product experiences used by millions of customers globally. In this role, you will help build the vision and strategy for the secondary domain market (aftermarket). GoDaddy has the largest marketplace in the industry, helping organizations and domain professionals around the globe to buy, sell, and monetize premium domain names. You will work closely with stakeholders such as product, and development in a truly Agile approach. You’ll join a Domains team comprised of UX designers and product managers who share a passion for driving the next generation of domain experience that customers love to use. You are a full stack designer who’s competent in UX, visual design and mobile technologies. Your responsibilities include bringing the product vision to life, creating and communicating concepts, and developing interactive design solutions across several breakpoints including mobile and tablet. The UX designer accelerates product concepts into mobile-first features and flows by providing wires, comps, and delivery oversight. Balancing creative thinking with interpersonal skills, this person will demonstrate an ability to justify concepts to the project team

Responsibilities:

  • Creating and growing product features and flows
  • Presenting and defending concepts
  • Balancing strategic development with business objectives
  • Directly contributing to project design and development
  • Work with engineering team to ensure final product meets a great quality bar
  • Contributing to and fostering innovative approaches to feature and product creation
  • Collaborating with and synthesizing feedback from customers and team feedback
  • Driving and participating in research activities and tests at various points in the design process
  • Presenting wires, demonstrating prototyped features and flows
  • Leveraging the unique insights gleaned from building prototypes to improve the technical and experiential quality of designs

Required Skills:

  • Demonstrable passion for customers
  • Strong design portfolio with 4+ years’ education 
  • 8+ years’ design and interactive work experience
  • Ability to focus on several projects concurrently
  • Effective time management and commitment to meet tight deadlines
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Eye for detail and dedication to quality deliverables
  • Great intuition around consumer electronics, industry trends, and web technologies
  • Experience designing multi-platform mobile experiences (web & native)
  • Expert knowledge of Sketch, Axure, Photoshop, or equivalent design tools
  • Experience working in an Agile development environment
  • Experience prototyping everything from complex product solutions to detailed micro interactions
  • Ability to think creatively and justify concepts
  • Experience driving strategic brainstorming, campaign development, creative brief development and execution
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity
  • Strong understanding of web and mobile development (CSS, HTML, Javascript, React, Native). Ability to code a plus but not required.

Nice to Have Skills:

  • Experience designing for native mobile applications
