Marketing Manager

We're looking for a marketing manager to support go-to-market efforts for our Domain Registrar and Investor Business Unit. In this role, you will serve our Domain Investor customers to extend GoDaddy’s global leadership position in domain names. Our domain investor customers want to derive value with their domains, GoDaddy’s flagship offering. We run the largest secondary market for Domains globally, offer advanced services for large investors and offer corporate domain buyers specialized brand protection services.

What you'll get to do...

  • Collect and analyze customer insights – Learn from investors to understand their challenges, aspirations, and needs through self-motivated research or partnering with the research team.
  • Develop innovative, omni-channel marketing strategies and programs to drive adoption of our products and services for the large investors
  • Contribute to the product go-to-market plan leveraging strategic inputs from product marketing and product management. Drive customer acquisition & retention campaigns.
  • Build comprehensive Customer Journey maps that assemble every aspect of an investor interaction with GoDaddy
  • Lead execution for (global) events aimed at engaging the domains investors community
  • Work closely with the site marketing team to optimize performance and customer experience of the landing pages, purchasing flows and content. Works with the UX and product teams regarding changes to product content pages and is responsible for improving conversion of products/flows.
  • Develop and build strong internal and external relationships with key partners in an effort to collaborate and drive the overall business.

Your experience should include...

  • 7+ years of dynamic experience in marketing, with specific experience in small business/consumer technology-driven brands. Shown experience leading marketing strategy development across acquisition, upsell/x-sell and retention.
  • A customer-centric view with a passion for gaining customer insights and translating insights into strategies
  • Strong business and marketing skill, with strong ability to generate creative, original marketing approaches based on customer insights
  • Solid analytical ability, with track record of “test & learn” mentality
  • Superior leadership qualities, with a track-record of increasing responsibility and results in a cross-functional, team environment
  • Excellent written, presentation and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly and simply
  • An innate bias toward action and a strong self-starter
  • Domains industry experience preferred
