Domain Transfer Specialist

At GoDaddy the future of work looks different for each team. Some teams work in the office full-time, others have a hybrid arrangement (they work remotely some days and in the office some days) and some work entirely remotely.

This is a hybrid position. You’ll divide your time between working remotely from your home and an office, so you should live within commuting distance. Hybrid teamsmay work in-office as much as a few times a week or as little as once a month or quarter, as decided by leadership. The hiringmanager can share more about what hybrid work might look like for this team in the future.

What you'll get to do...

As Domain Transfer Specialist you will play a key role at GoDaddy. We act as a gateway to performing risk assessments relating to customer identification and verification. Make sure there are no blockers in the transfer process and help our customers run their business effectively.

  • Performing risk assessments relating to customer identification and verification
  • Enable accurate and fast service delivery of domain requests and transfers
  • You will be the voice of the company and interact in a friendly and professional manner
  • You will act as the bridge between customers and the account management team
  • Be a power user of GoDaddy and acquire a thorough understanding of our product and internal systems
  • Proactively ensure the stability of GoDaddy major functions and systems in seamless collaboration with developers
  • Communicate with Product and cross-functional teams, analysing the impact of transfer data, and making it easy to understand

Your experience should include...

  • 1+ years of experience in a customer support role in the tech industry. SaaS or domaining experience is a huge plus
  • Be fluent in English. Any other European or Asian language would be a huge advantage
  • Ability to troubleshoot problems, find answers to customer issues, and articulate complex solutions in written communication
  • Great analytical skills
  • Advanced experience in MS Excel and working with large data sets
  • You can take initiative and not wait for others to make things happen. You constantly advocate and challenge decisions in the right way.
  • You can keep track of your own time, manage and prioritise your daily work
  • Experience in working cross-functionally on a daily basis. Being the bridge that connects the users with the rest of internal teams (Brand, Product, etc)
